He was predeceased by: his father Homer Dale VanEpps; his son Brian "Boomer" VanEpps; and the father of his child Homer. He is survived by: his mother Donna Jean VanEpps (Whiting); his wife Sharon; his daughter Toni Ojeda; his siblings, Cheryl Teegarden (Jon), Randy VanEpps (Tinker), Janice Thomas (late Mike) and Clyde VanEpps (Nancy); his grandchildren, Sarah Stapley (Lucas) and Jonathan Ojeda (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Bentley Smith, Brealynn Stapley, Cullen Stapley and Mila Ojeda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Lyle Torrent School.
