He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Jean; his sister Lee Ann; and his parents-in-law, Bernard and Dorothy Lacinski.

He is survived by: his wife Ellen (Lacinski); his children, Justin Matz (Tina) and Emily Prus (Jim); his grandchildren, Liam, Aedan Matz, Caleb and Cierra Prus; his brother Gary (Bernadette); his siblings-in-law, Tom Lacinski (Sally), Joe Lacinski (Edna), John Lacinski and Linda Bunker (Mark); and his pets, Zeke and Vinnie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Cascades Humane Society would be appreciated.
