With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellis Thornsberry of Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on February 23, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Thornsbury and Gracie Thornsbury; and his siblings, Tommy, Taylor and Eileen.

He is survived by: his wife Connie J. Thornsberry; his daughters, Roshelle "Shelly" Gregory (Lee) and Tamara "Tami" Bail; his grandchildren, Nathan Bail, Daniel Bail, Mallory Moriarty, Alisha Gregory, Ericka Ellis (Joel) and Garret Gregory; his great grandchildren, Makenzie Bail, Isaac Parker, Brooks Ellis and Karlie Moriarty; and his siblings, Jay Thornsbury (Barb), Virgil Thornsbury, Florence Clemons, Syliva Atkins, Fannie Cornwell (Buford), Dorothy Baldridge (Luther) and Helen "Ruth" Thornsbury. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
