She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Wylie Wilkie and Elizabeth Thom Wilkie (Milne); her husband Gerald Harkness; her brother-in-law Jerry Boyd; and her niece Kimberly Boyd.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas of Ferndale, Gerald Andrew of East Leroy, Elizabeth and Leslie of Jackson; her sister Muriel Boyd of Chelsea; her nephew Tobin Boyd (Vickie) of Jackson; her great-nephew Christopher Boyd; Sherrie Springer of Chelsea.
