He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Layher and Loretto Layher (Heeney); his sons-in-law, Gregory McCann and Michael Gordon; and his brothers, James, Arthur, Vincent and Harry.
He is survived by: his sisters, RoseMary Mack and JoAnn Atkin (Glenn); and his sister-in-law Bernadine Layher.
