He was predeceased by: his son Richard Silvernail; his parents, Clyde Silvernail and Theodora Silvernail; and his brother Robert Silvernail. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, Francine Ponte (David) and Tony Silvernail (Rochelle); his grandchildren, Jacob Silvernail, Shannon O'Connor, Alexandra Silvernail and Emma Cortes (Miguel); his stepgrandchildren, Elisabeth Ponte, Noah Ponte (Jacqueline) and Mariah Ponte (Corey); his great grandchild Miguel Cortes; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Eleanor Ponte and Charlotte Ponte. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
