He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Maybelline Greenberg; his children, Steven Greenberg (Susan), Debbie Griffes (Greg) and Carol Weikle (late Keith); and his grandchildren, Katrina Purdy (Matthew), Lindsey Wolf (Jeremy), Cameron Greenberg, Nicholas Loop (Marcia), Jordan Loop (Samantha), Eric Griffes (Hayley), Jacob Griffes, Amanda Glessner (Brandon Kaplan), Samantha Atkins (Austin) and Wayne Glessner (Kimberly). He was also cherished by 18 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the David Oppenheim Memorial Chapel at Machpelah Cemetery (21701 Woodward Ave, Ferndale, MI 48220).
