With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Eugene Hendershott of Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on September 4, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil E. Hendershott and Grace Hendershott (Dawson); and his siblings, Cecil Hendershott, Don Hendershott and Connie Gray.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hendershott (Allen); his children, David Hendershott (Joanie), Lisa Hendershott-Kraetzer (Kirk) and Denise Berry (Steve); his grandchildren, Jack Hendershott, Lindsay Hendershott (Alex DeGroat), Nathaniel Berry and Meredith Berry (Wyatt Dodge); and his sisters-in-law, Jean Hendershott and Mary Lou Scott. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
