George Edward Lantz Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 16, 2026, at the age of 96, George Edward Lantz of Jackson, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Chester Lantz and Parney Catherine Banks Lantz; his son Shawn Eugene; and his daughter-in-law Nancy E. Lantz. He is survived by: his wife Janet Marlene True; his children, Lee of Brighton, Lynn (Carrie) of Mason, Michelle Johnson (Barney) of Oswego, NY and Janelle of Jackson; his grandchildren, Matthew Lantz (Amanda), Lindsay Syrell (Stephen), Christian Lantz, Amber Johnson, Rebekah Coffey (Austin), Micah Lantz, Chelsea Rehnlund (Kyle) and Sarah Romano (Ryan); and his sisters, Naomi Foster (Don) and Yvonne Lee. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
