He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Aurand and Doris Aurand (Whited); his siblings, David Aurand (Ila) and Marilyn McBride; his niece Amy Clark; and his nephew Aaron Clark.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Aurand; his daughters, Kristen Hall (Bart) and Kathleen Cuthbertson (William); his grandchildren, Corban (Chloe), Micah, Hannah, Naomi, James and John; and his brothers-in-law, Gerald Clark (Patricia) and Roger Clark (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
