It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Thompson of Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on April 29, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Russell Lines and Mildred Lines (Ludlow); her husband Derald Thompson; and her siblings, Donald Lines (Judy), Ruth Oppel (Earl) and Claire Lines (Pat).
She is survived by: her children, Brian P. Thompson (Renee) of Lapeer, MI, Karen R. Hamblin of Jackson, MI, Stephen D. Thompson (Kathy) of Troy, IL, Martha S. Gray (Paul) of Littleton, CO and Carla V. Wilson (Mark) of Ossian, IN.; her sister Virginia Tooley (Bill) of Jackson, MI.; and her grandchildren, Erin L. Siders, Melissa Gray (Ryan), Becky Tiret (Paul), Todd Stanton, Stephanie Hicks (Jason), Cari Corrie (Darin), Ryan Thompson (Amy), Heather Mickelson (Philip), Amber Barr (Mike), Matthew Gray (Bonnie), Kayla Leadem (Jeremy), Danica Pappas (George), Dylan Thompson, Daniel Thompson and Audrey Thompson. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many loving nieces and nephews.
