He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Franklin and Helen Mary Griffis (Ayres); his daughter Traci Lons; and his sister-in-law Sally A. Griffis. He is survived by: his wife Sally Lou Griffis (Munsie); his daughter Jodie Boehlke (Ryan) of Ann Arbor; his son-in-law Andy Lons of Homer; his siblings, Ken Griffis, Jim Griffis (Mary), Larry Griffis (Laurie), Jerry Griffis (Marlene), Joyce Olsowy (David) and Diana Ingle (John); his grandchildren, Kylie Brigham (Olivia), Storm Boehlke (Jenna), Joseph Lons (Annie) and Cecelia Lons; and his great grandchildren, Ryann and Merek.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Concord United Methodist Church (119 S Main St, Concord, MI 49237). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
