We are sad to announce that, on January 20, 2023, at the age of 69, James Leo Johnson (Jackson, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alice Johnson and Paul Johnson; his wife Cathy (Polish); his grandsons, Timothy, Jacob and Douglas; and his siblings, Betsy Granse (Dick), Peggy McCurdy (Tom), Janet Raehtz (David), Mary Jo Mills (Jim), Paul Johnson Jr. and Michael Johnson. He was also cherished by 7 nieces and 6 nephews.
There will be a celebration of Jimmy's life and legacy on Saturday, January 28 from 1-5 pm at the Hampton Funeral Home, 4204 Ann Arbor Road, Jackson, MI. (Maize and Blue or IBEW attire is encouraged. Suits and Ties are not.) Donations may be made in Jimmy's honor to: The Pancreatic Cancer Clinic, 1500 E Medical Center Dr. Rogel Cancer Center Level B1, Reception E Ann Arbor MI 48109.
