With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Riley Shoemaker (Jackson, Michigan), who passed away on April 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shoemaker and Sarah Shoemaker (Skillen); his siblings, John, Naomi, Harriet, Maxine, Martha, Jerry, Hugh, Ina, Mildred, Don, Church and Ken; his in-laws, Howard and Ruth Dotson; and his son-in-law Corey Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his daughter Jaime; his granddaughter Bailey; his pet Angel; his nephew Marshall; and his siblings-in-law, Edie Shoemaker, Connie Thornsberry and Don Dotson (Linda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
