He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Thompson; his daughters, Jamiesha Thompson, Tiphanie Thompson-Dillon (Michael) and LaTasha Thompson; his grandson Najee Thompson; his aunts, Ollie Knight, Mamie Lou Straham and Charlie Stamps; his uncle Bennie Thompson (London); his adoptive daughter La'Sasha Thompson (Charles Williams); and his brother-in-law Christopher Lang.
