He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Nichols and Blanche Barrett (Eurenius); his wife Anne Nichols (Bailey); and his sisters, Marilyn Nichols and Susan Nowak.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Nichols, Debbie Wahr (Bob) and Darlene Bell; his stepchildren, Guy Rickard, Gloria Russell and Arvilla Ashenfelter; his sister Lois Kline; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Blanchard, Gwen Bell and Eric Wahr (Laura Taylor).
