It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Ann Goodsell of Jackson, Michigan, born in Grand Ledge, Michigan, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest M. Lawrence and Vivian A. Lawrence; her husband James R. Goodsell; and her sisters, Lorna Brock and Carolyn Emerson.
She is survived by: her children, Steven J. Goodsell (Sophia) and Karen A. Peavy; her grandchildren, Anthony "AJ" Peavy, Logan Peavy and Natasha Goodsell; her brother James Lawrence (Cynthia); and her brothers-in-law, Gary Emerson (Melva), Lawrence Goodsell (Sherri) and Gary Goodsell (Carol). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
The celebration of Jean's life will begin at 11:45 A.M. with the gathering from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. all Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the Gene Davis & Sons Banquet and Convention Center, 3575 Francis St. Jackson, MI 49203 For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to Henry Ford Hospice Home or the American Cancer Society in memory of Jean A. Goodsell.
