It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Lee Ray (Jackson, Michigan), born in Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on October 16, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Walker W. Ray; and his siblings, Garland, Ralph, Jackie, Kenny Ray and Margaret Vining.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Louise Ray (Spangler); his sons, Jimmy Lee Ray Jr. and Kevin Wayne Ray (Ehrika); his grandchildren, Audryna Olds, Tyler James Ray, Austin Steele Ray (Alexa), Samuel Morris Ray (Madilyn), Kloee Jacobs, Janiyla Johnson, Dylan Hayslip and Melanie Donaldson (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Isabelle, Seeger, Piper, Miles Donaldson and Madilyn Rose Ray; his sisters, Joan Murphy, Mary Louise Tripp and Linda Sue Duval (Daniel); and his sister-in-law Dorothy Ray. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
