Cimock (Stellingworth); his mother-in-law Rose Marie Bretes (Rosie); his wife Alicia Rose (Bretes); his sisters, Maryann E Cimock, Martha Kay Job (David) and Michelle R Sanford (Dennis); and his sisters-in-law, Pamela Marie Henseler and Mary Ann Ahlers (Ted). He was also cherished by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

“To my cousins Mary Ann, Marty, and Shelly, and also to Johnny's wife, Alicia: I haven't seen John for many years, but I do remember him going to my son's classroom to talk about the Desert Storm war. My memories of Johnny are largely made up of his intelligence and humor. It was always fun to have John sit near you at a family gathering! Unfortunately, Mark and Carol and Kevin and I live out of state and can't come, but we are donating to Jackson Animal Shelter in his name Jean Cimock Meszaros”
