He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Lapinski (Backus); his siblings, Robert Lapinski (Tonya) and Judy Stage; and his son-in-law Andrew LaFaive. He is survived by: his significant other Sandy Benes; his daughters, Maria Lapinski-LaFaive and Natasha Koss (Matthew); his grandchildren, Adrien, Quinn and Elsa; his siblings, Alice Marie Dull, Mary Sue McCondra and Jim Lapinski (Jackie); and his friend Louise Hefka. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
