We are sad to announce that, on September 11, 2022, at the age of 76, Jon M. Thomas of Jackson, Michigan, born in Frederick, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph M. Thomas and Lois V. Thomas Sr. (Compher); and his siblings, Lois Koontz (Bill) of Virginia, Mary Grace Baker (Jim), Alice Jeanne Main (Gordon), Ralph Monroe Thomas Jr. and Diane Compher Kefauver.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Thomas (VanEpps); his son Seth Thomas (Juliet); his stepson Jeffrey VanEpps (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Grant, Hudson Thomas, Nicholas, Adrianna and Octavia VanEpps; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Ann Thomas and Noah E. "Ned" Kefauver III. He is also survived by eighteen nieces and nephews.

Contributions in Mike's memory are directed to the Doubs/Epworth United Methodist Church in Adamstown, MD, the Civitan Club of Frederick, MD, or to Civitan International.
