He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Brenner and Anna Brenner (Doughty); his wife Cindy Warner Hargis; his son Joe Hargis; and his siblings, William Brenner and Margaret Palmer.
He is survived by: his sons, Andy Hargis (Lori) and Casey Hargis; his siblings, Chris Brenner (Beth) and Lydia Brown (Mark); and his grandchildren, Austin, Makenna Hargis, Brynn and Michael Ruhl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
