She was loved and cherished by many people including: her significant other Al Lefere; her children, Sherrie Lefere, Al Lefere (Jill), Connie Michels (Kevin), Andy Lefere and Jodie Zajdel (Stan); her grandchildren, Lauren Geikie, Jamie Geikie, Sean Geikie, Allie Corravo (Nick), Julia Lefere, Matthew Michels, Elizabeth Schuelke (Peter), Abigail Michels, Dale Michels, Gabrielle Zajdel, Luke Zajdel, Brooke Zajdel and Jake Zajdel; her great grandchildren, Eliza Michels, Clement Michels and Gia Corravo; and her friend Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jackson Interfaith Shelter.
