She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert and Virginia; and her brothers, Bob, Dick and John Jones.
She is survived by: her husband John Merkel; and her siblings, Mary Donovan (Frank), Linda Shepard and Tom Jones. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. John Evangelist Catholic Church.
