She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hammond and Dessie Hammond (Brown); her husband William Godfrey; her daughter-in-law Betty Godfrey; her great grandchildren, Hannah Godfrey and William Penix; her sisters, Geneva Dellinger (Carl) and Berniece Cover (Wayne); and her close friend Beth Shumaker.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Pombier (Edward), Frederick Godfrey and Marcia Penix (Gary); her grandchildren, Edward Pombier, Dr. Kathleen Pombier, Dr. Tom Godfrey (Becky), Ben Godfrey, Ashlie Haeussler (Mike), Christine Marsh and Bradley Penix (Anne); and her great grandchildren, Addison, Lauren, Audrey, Carter, Liam, Jacob, Alexandra, Charlotte, Elizabeth, Matthew, Danielle and Darren. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
