“Kimberly, her mother Vashtye Faye Reynolds Johnson & I went way back in time. We had so much fun at the reunion at the Martin Luther King Jr Center where we even made a video. Vashtye and I were recalling a contest we won at a city-wide talent show back in the day with our singing group, the Latrelles, which also included Olivia Burton Pitts. Both Olivia and Vashtye are gone now & only I am left. Kimberly got such a big kick from hearing us sing and recorded it. This pic is from that day.”
