With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Alvin Nichols of Jackson, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 26, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Nichols and Marjorie Nichols (Ashworth); his former wife Sally Ann Nichols; and his brother Jim Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Linda Nichols (Martz); his children, Kerry Gregg (Jim), Michele Guimond (Dan), Paul McKay and Amy McKay; his grandchildren, Marie Hedrick, Jennifer Slover (John), Katlin Rosalez (Mateo), Zak Greiner, Ashley Salgado-Albarron (Miquel), Jake McKay, Allison McKay and Jameson McKay; his great grandchildren, Madalyn Hedrick, Jennabelle Hedrick, Archer Slover, Bennett Slover, Octavia Rosalez, Electra Rosalez, Brooklyn Salgado-Albarron, Oliver Sagado-Albarron and Elias Salgado-Albarron; and his siblings, Bill Nichols, Jill Goldsmith (Dave) and Beth Gefaller (Mark). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
