It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence P. Cook (Jackson, Michigan), who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dale and Frances H. Cook (Morrissey); his brother David Cook; his parents-in-law, Earnest and Wilma Schelling; and his sister-in-law Evelyn M. Rice.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his son John; his daughter-in-law Christine Cook; his daughter Julie; his son-in-law Todd Howard; his grandchildren, Torri Hines (Connor), Tyler Howard, Cayden Cook, Elizabeth Cramer (Tyler) and Jacob Phelan; his siblings, James D. Cook (Margie), Marylou Bush (Craig) and Robert Cook (Sandy); and his brother-in-law J. Lloyd Rice. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Instead of sending flowers, contributions to the Kidney Foundation, Leukemia Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research or Mott's Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
