She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville and Ladonna Schumm (Swift) of LaPorte; and her brother John G. Schumm. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Jody Schumm; her sons, John (Pamela) and Brian (Mary); her grandchildren, Christoper (Julie), Nathan (Aura Lee), Matthew (Maria), Gretchen and Raj Parikh; and her great grandchildren, Makai Mercedes and Phillipa Loie.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Immanual Lutheran Church Piano Fund, or Jackson High School - Friends Who Care Program that supports homeless students.
