He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Draffen and Elizabeth Draffen (Crabtree); his sister Sandra; and his brothers-in-law, James Dale, Joseph Gonzales and Jesse Gonzales.

He is survived by: his wife Erma Draffen (Gonzales); his sons, Tom (Kathy) and Todd Draffen (Jen); his grandchildren, Todd, Robert (Kallie) and Sarah (Nate); his great grandchildren, Todd, Conner, Remington, Brayden, Bently and Aaliyah; his brother Charles Draffen (Mary Ann); his sister-in-law Norma Evans; and his nieces and nephews, Timmy Musky, Annette Musky (Steve), Vicky Musky (Julie), Darin Evans (Lisa), Eric Evans (Megan), Kaylee Rosecrants (Bobby), Kris Draffen, Phil Draffen (Tina), Mike Draffen (Jena) and Beth Masters (Mike).
