She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin Varner II; her parents, Dr. James O'Meara and Mary O'Meara; and her siblings, Betty Lefere, Rev. James O'Meara and Thomas O'Meara.
She is survived by: her sons, Benjamin III (Julie) of Fenton, Robert (Denise) of Plymouth, Kevin of Grand Rapids and Paul (Amy) of Jackson; her grandchildren, Brian (Alyssa), Katie (CJ), Erik, Molly (Brandon), Erin (Jake), Emily (Daniel), John, Madison, Andrew and Nolan; her great grandchildren, Zane, Elyse, Ava, Valeska, Melanie, Sophia, Michael, Henry, Emerson and Watson; and her sister Barbara Sauter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Queen of the Miraculous Medal School, Lumen Christi High School, the University of Michigan Cancer Center, or Henry Ford Hospice.
