It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Ann Yount of Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on September 3, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Martha Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Martha Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Yount and Melvena Yount. She is survived by: her siblings, Sarah Rawley of Fate, Texas, Louis Yount, Jr. of Carrollton, Texas and Williard Yount of Jackson. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, plus great-nieces.
In lieu of flowers, Martha has requested that donations be made to the "By the Hand Club for Kids" after-school program at the Moody Church, 1635 N. La Salle Drive, Chicago, IL 60614. Keep Martha's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
