He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Willis E. Sexton and Hester F. Sexton (Nutter); his brothers, Paul and Roger Sexton; his siblings-in-law, Darrel, Ron, Doug Hankins, Nyle Ruppert, Richard Duty, Cleo, Josephine Sexton and Jean Hankins; and his nephews, Bruce Ruppert and Steve Epperly.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Hankins; his sons, Randy Sexton of Jackson and Rev. Brian Sexton (Michelle) of Moline, Illinois; his grandsons, Taylor Sexton (Anna Quijas) of Moline and Noah Sexton of Moline; his siblings, Anna Mae Duty of Spring Arbor, Russell (Karen) of Jackson, Doris Ruppert of Niles, Sandy Hankins of Arden and Esther Oswald (Owen) of Jackson; and his siblings-in-law, Dwight Hankins (Sharon), Joyce Sexton, Edda Hankins and Lois Sexton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.
