She was predeceased by: her parents, Delis Herbert Whitesell and Alice Irene Jeffreys Whitesell of Moore Co; her husband Charles F. Mills; her siblings, Ferne Bunch, Vernon, Leonard, Mark, Delis Herbert Jr., David, Max, Fred and Kenneth; and her granddaughter Erica.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Mills (Susan), Kathy Wynn and Ron Mills; her sister Linda Upole of West End, NC; her grandchildren, Amanda (Mike), Nickolas (Ashley), Jack (Jillian), Steven (Sarah), Andrea (Jeff) and Ryan (Halle); and her sisters-in-law, Leslie Whitesell of Troy, Linda Whitesell of Carthage and Deelie Whitesell of Carthage. She is also survived by great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care of Jackson or Arbor Grove Congregational Church.
