She was predeceased by: her parents, Erie Stokes and Priscilla Stokes (Curry) of Minter City, Mississippi.. She is survived by: her former spouses, Ellis Murrell, Linda Breedlove and Vernon Murrell; her husband Wardell Brown; and her siblings, Florence Paige (Stokes), Erie Stokes, Jr., Matilda King (Stokes) and Wesley Stokes. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
