She was predeceased by: her husband George Talton; her son Terry LaFond; her grandson Jimmy Vander Weide; her parents, Anna Bruno and Thomas Smith; and her siblings, Mildred Shingler, Rosie Fuller, Dorothy Shingler, Pearl Shingler, Susan Smith, Earl Smith, James Shingler and Lawrence Fuller.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph LaFond, Dennis LaFond, Don LaFond, Harold LaFond (Teresa), Anna Vander Weide (Jim) and Kim Middlebrook (Joel); and her stepsons, Dennis Talton (Kellie) and Anthony Talton. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
