He was predeceased by: his parents, Hytence Hurd and Jimmie L. Hurd; his brother Jimmie L. (Bugs); his daughter Nikki Hurd; and his grandson Ashton Parker.
He is survived by: his brothers, Eugene (Beverly) and James L. (Sharon); his children, Michael Hurd, Jr., Aisha Parker (Anthony) and Shaun Doyle (Kristin); and his friends, Mike Holt, Alan Wade and Holly Jones. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
