He was predeceased by: his parents, Elene "Joy" II and James Leo Hughes II; his wife Debbie; and his siblings, Rita DeRue, Richard Hughes and Hattie Hughes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Natalie Hughes and Melinda Turner; his son-in-law Nick Turner; his grandchildren, Bodhi and Wren; and his siblings, Connie Rowland, James, Christine Moore, Patrice Young, Kevin Hughes, Nora Naab, Mary West, Kathleen McGinnis, Zachary Hughes, Frank Hughes and Kelley Eitenmiller. He is also survived by MANY nieces, nephews.
