We announce the death of Michael Mosher of Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 78. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Michael will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Michael will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Michael’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Mosher and Virginia Mosher (Lee); and his siblings, Jerry Mosher, Jack Mosher and Jim Mosher.
He is survived by: his wife Cherry Mosher (Day); his children, Tracy Irwin, Keri Gordon (Kip) and Michael, Jr. Mosher (Millie); and his sisters, Suzanne Rowe, Linda Yaw (Frank), Susann Arnett (Frank) and Marietta Monarch. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the American Legion (1190 Falahee Rd, Jackson, MI 49203).
