He was predeceased by: his father Charles Moran; his children, Charles Jr., Kathy (Andrus), Barbara, Bonita "Bonnie" (Hoffman), Linda and Victoria; his mother Gertrude Moran; his siblings, Charles Jr., Kathy, Barbara, Bonnie and Linda; and his children, Vicky, Norman Jr., Cheryl, Vasu and Rodgers.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Cox; his caregiver Lori Sue Moran Turbeville; and his stepdaughter Rhonda Burke. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel) (32515 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Operation Christmas Child, c/o Northwest Baptist Church, 7600 Lansing Avenue, Jackson, Michigan 49201.
