She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Hefele and Monika Hefele (Bauhammer); her husband Norman E. Curtis; her brother Erwin Hefele; and her daughter Ruth Curtis.
She is survived by: her daughter Monica Walter (Gary) of Grass Lake; her grandchildren, Abby Briggs and John Walter (Marianne); her great grandchildren, Sophie Briggs and Alexis Walter; and her niece Shelley. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
