It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Papaioannou of Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on August 27, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Concetta; and his son Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his daughters, Tracy Saylor (Terry), Robyn Papaioannou (Rick Weaver) and Jana Terry (Steve); his grandchildren, Joshua Saylor, Sydney Buerster, Brooke Terry, Brett Terry and Blake Terry; his brother Richard Papaioannou; his nephew Richard Papaioannou; his nieces, Laurie Mott and Lisa Davis; and his brother-in-law Anthony Palma.

“For some reason, Memories of Pete flashed into my mind today. So I googled his name and it was with sadness that I found his obituary. I met Pete in 1978 when we were new employees at Consumers Power. I had just gotten out of the Navy in New London. The thing I remember most about Pete was the love he had for his family. He always referred to his wife as The Queen. I left Jackson in 1985. We had great fun working together. Nothing but fond memories. I am sure he will be missed. Nate Leech”
