It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Jean Slete of Jackson, Michigan, born in Plymouth, Indiana, who passed away on June 13, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest J. Slete; her parents, Walter M. Clevenger and Edna E. Clevenger; her sister Lois Dodson; her grandson Nathan Thomas Keeler; and her great grandchild Isaac James Keeler.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Rouse, Ernest Kent Slete (Cynthia), Pamela Keeler (Donald) and Dr. Frederic Slete (Susan); her grandchildren, Steve Rouse (Tammy), Barbara Kennedy, Kelly McCune (Matthew), Christopher Keeler (Jessica), Jarrod Keeler (Stephanie), Leanne Keeler, Lauren Mohon (Sean) and Dr. Kelsey Eckenswiller (Trevor); and her siblings, James Clevenger (Peggy) and Betty Vidas. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
