He is survived by: his wife Celia Gutierrez (Sally); his children, Lavonne Smith (John) of Jackson, DeWayne Walker (Margaret Hester) of Lansing, JoAn Miller (Gerald Lester) of Jackson, Raymond Jr. Payne (NiCole) of Jackson and Randy Payne of Jackson, Michigan.; his sisters, Vernita Payne of Lansing, Margaret Payne of Lansing, Pearl Lee of Battle Creek and Loretta Walker of Jackson; his grandchildren, Quenten, Kimbra, Cortez, DeWayne, LaToya, Brittany, Stephon, Jade, Tesha, Orlando, Damian, Lenise, Cherokee, Jordan, ShyAnna, JonRay and Randy; and his pet Blue.
