It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rhea Maxine Matteson of Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claud Losey and Nina Losey (Lincoln); her husband Wayne Matteson; and her siblings, Lincoln Losey, Ethelda Weller, Beth Robertson and Ila May.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ellen Warfield (Greg), Patsy Rhea Gilewicz (Steve), Michael Kelly Matteson (Marie), Amy Jane Zicafoose (Lon) and Julie Marie Warfield (John); her grandchildren, Megan, Stephen, Maureen, Sarah, Michael, William, Erin, Julia, Henry, Riley, Eileen and Rose; her great grandchildren, Victoria, Ezekiel, Luke, Geneive and Malakai; and her sisters, Luella Fry and Karen Connell-Hicks.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Food Pantry.
