We are sad to announce that, on October 24, 2020, at the age of 91, Richard Stanton of Jackson, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Stanton to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Leavenworth Stanton II and Lucille (Hubbard); his stepfather John "Jack" Llewellyn; his daughter Louanne Stanton; and his brother Harry Stanton.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Stanton; his son Guy Stanton (Shirley) of Houghton Lake; his grandchildren, Jamie Baum of Clawson, Corey Stanton of Royal Oak, Christine Stanton and Sarah Wingate (Nick); and his brother Tom Llewellyn of Royal Oak. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

That was such a fun day for the two of them, both great artists. I love Dicks work! I have one of his wooden Santas, that I cherish. He used to drive Louanne and I to school.
