She is survived by: her mother Vivian Payne (Johnson); her husband Charles Linn Buckner; her children, Shena Buckner (Gerrad) and Charles Broderick Buckner (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Alexis, Isaiah, Vanessa, Amani, Walter, Jayda, Yaysmin and Lyric; her great grandchild Demeco; and her siblings, Jacqueline Arnold (Mark) and Charles Payne. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
