He was predeceased by: his parents, Cliff Curl and Geraldine Curl; and his sister Carolyn. He is survived by: his wife Penny; his daughters, Olivia and Katherine (Jim); his grandchildren, Isla and Liam; and his siblings, Bill (Bertha), Linda and Elaine.
