He was predeceased by: his parents, Luella M. Shepard (Minnie Luella) and Charles Ernest Shepard; his wife Patricia Kay Winters; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his children, Judith Chelekis (Philip), Susanne Hammond (John) and Robert Shepard II (Robin). He is also survived by his three children, eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, he would like donations to go to The Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) in memory of his wife.
