He was predeceased by: his parents, Roderick Hewitt and Janet Lois Welch (Frost); his sister JannaLee Welch; and his stepmother Wilma Welch. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lee Hoggarth; his children, Denise Kestner (John) of Jackson and Jason Welch (Christy) of Clinton; his siblings, Jim Welch of Clinton, Teresa Fetzer (Gary) of Adrian and Cindy Sterling (Del) of Rothbury; and his grandchildren, Julia, Dominic, Mia, Matthew, Catherine, Olivia, Austin, Ryan, Jacob and Grace.
Memorial contributions may be made to Clinton High School Band Program and The Kirk Gibson Foundation for Parkinson's.
